How Much Weight Should You Aim to Lose?

 

It isn't possible for us to lose weight too quickly and remain safe and healthy at the same time. Many diets and fads promote magical rates of weight loss but usually they are either lies, or they are unhealthy in the long term and usually, after people have tried following these programmes they simply put any weight that they have lost back on again.

It is important to have weight loss goals but they need to be sensible. In Community Fit Club we only aim for a weekly weight loss of between 1-2lbs. A 1lb per week weight loss over a long period of time will be an excellent achievement.

While only 1lb per week may seem like very slow progress, over a period of time, this could add up to a very significant and sustainable loss.
